Drake’s cancelled show in Amsterdam yesterday (March 27) was a shock to all who were in attendance. After hearing the 6 God was sick and couldn’t perform, word just got out that his sickness was due to food poisoning.

According to TMZ, Drake’s food poisoning came from some bad sushi. The sushi put Drake’s stomach in a sickly condition and unfortunately the Toronto MC was left with one choice—to cancel his show. Fan’s waited around for nearly 75 minutes before receiving the news that Drake wasn’t going to be in attendance. After hearing it, they began to throw things on the stage.

Although the arena was full of disappointed fans, this isn’t the first time that Drake has cancelled a show in that city. Drake decided to postpone his whole Boy Meets World Tour back in January which ultimately lead to his first two Amsterdam shows getting pushed back to further dates. The two Amsterdam shows that were suppose to happen that month were pushed back due to “unforeseen production setbacks.”
