Dyme-A-Duzin Goes For The Gold On His ‘Ghetto Olympics’ EP

Brooklyn rapper Dyme-A-Duzin believes every talented individual the hood has ever produced deserves to succeed in life no matter what struggles they’ve been through. That’s the underlying message of his surprise EP Ghetto Olympics. According to his team, the concept of the album derives from Dyme’s “views on the attributes needed to overcome struggles and obstacles which get in the way of success to the same stamina and perseverance that are required to win a gold medal.”

During his recent Twitter interview, the Crown Heights rhymeslinger explained the album’s concept further. “In the hood we all have our own talents. We’re all trying to make it out,” Dyme tweeted. He also speaks on the unique cover, which designed by Sen Floyd, Collin Classics and David Denaszca. “Bandanas, barbed wire, caution tape & bud leaves. Sounds like some sh*t the hood is caught up in to me,” Dyme said about the cover.

The EP features five brand new tracks featuring bars from fellow rising star Oswin Benjamin and production by Mark Henry and MK, The Olympicks, Montage, Vontae Thomas, and Nisi. Ghetto Olympics serves as a mere warm-up for all the fans as he prepares Crown Fried, which is the follow up to his 2016 project 2 Piece Tape.
