“Castle On The Hill,” which was directed by George Belfield, takes us back to a simpler time in the U.K. singer’s life. Back when he was still grabbing pints of ale, smoking hand-rolled cigarettes, playing pool, and dancing with his friends in bars as a youngster, things were pretty worry free for the superstar. During his time reminiscing about his innocent, yet mischievous youth, Ed even takes us back to when he got his first kiss.

The coming-of-age tale is faithfully recreated from the lyrics into the video as he takes us back to his hometown of Framlingham in Suffolk, England. It paints a very touching and heartwarming experience that most fans can easily relate to.

Since the release of “Castle On The Hill”, Sheeran has managed to make Billboard chart history this month as he became the first artist to debut two songs in the top 10 at the same time as it hit #1 at the time of its release.

“Castle On The Hill” is now available for purchase on iTunes.
