Electric Circus & Lugz Presents #Gloesha Influencer Campaign

Electric Circus is celebrating five years in artist development with nostalgic hip-hop flair. The New York-based consultancy, behind debut events for Migos, Rae Sremmurd and 21 Savage, has partnered with Lugz for a ’90s-inspired campaign entitled “Gloesha.”

The Hannah Sider shoot turns the spotlight to 11 leaders of the new school, such as award-winning DJ Kitty Cash and Bronx tastemaker 40oz Van, while extracting the essence of the “innovator and leader in footwear’s” vintage ad portfolio, which features iconic looks by the likes of Snoop Dogg, Outkast and Master P.

“This project means so much to me,” Electric Circus founder Shabazz told VIBE via email. “I wanted to celebrate the culture that has supported me since being in New York City. Each person represents a piece of me and make up a portion of the new faces in this industry.”

With an all-star DJ lineup including Vashtie and performances by Nebu Kiniza, Kari Faux and Levi Carter, Shabazz and co. commemorated the occasion during a packed out, invite-only soiree at Brooklyn’s House of Yes.
