Gina Rodriguez To Voice ‘Carmen Sandiego’ Netflix Revival

Where In The World Is Carmen Sandiego? ran for five seasons in the early ’90s, stimulating the minds and captivating the hearts of children from their television sets, having evolved from a popular video game. Reportedly, today’s kids will also be able to get their geography skills on point as junior detectives in search of Ms. Sandiego. Netflix has ordered 20 episodes of a revival of the animated favorite and chosen Jane The Virgin star Gina Rodriguez to breathe new life into the famous burglar.

Although this revival will be animated, Rodriguez admits she’s been channeling Sandiego in her everyday life.

Netflix has not yet released an air date for the show or details about other characters.
