It’s Been 20-Years Since Aaliyah Dropped “One In A Million”
Missy Elliott commemorated the 20-year anniversary of Aaliyah’s “One in a Million” single with a post dedicated to the fallen star.
“There’s still not a day that goes by that u aren’t inspiring new artist[s] with your TIMELESS music & style!,” the Virginia native wrote on Saturday (Dec. 10). “U will never be forgotten Aaliyah (Babygirl) We ❤️ u!”

“One in a Million,” which was penned by Elliott and Timbaland, was the title track from Aaliyah’s 1996 double-platinum release. The album spawned heaters like “4 Page Letter,” and “Hot Like Fire,” and earned critical acclaim across the board.
