The Carter Clan was in the building last night (Feb. 19), at the NBA All-Star Game in New Orleans. Jay Z, a preggers Beyonce and Blue Ivy were close enough to trip a referee, while taking in the high-flying and very high-scoring game.

The West ending up besting the East 192-182, with New Orleans Pelicans’ Anthony Davis taking home the MVP with an All-Star game record 52 points.

The weekend’s festivities in the NOLA were dotted with dope hip-hop events. LeBron James reunited the Hot Boys at a BEATSXNOLA event, that also featured 2 Chainz. “We got Tunechi, Juvie, Mannie and Turk in here tonight in their backyard in New Orleans,” the King said while introducing crew. “I grew up on these boys right here…I had to let y’all know that everything that goes on tonight, you better appreciate the shit, because it may not happen again.”

Jigga hosted his own Tidal event which featured hometown hero Jay Electronica. The Golden State Warriors’ Kevin Durant was in attendance as well as the “Exhibit C” rapper, who at one point stepped up to the mic with some kind words for the Roc Nation boss. “I appreciate you, dog. I love you, bro,” he told Hov.

“Let’s go put this album out,” Mr. Carter responded, getting fans hype that 2017 might really be the year we get Elect’s album Act II: Patents of Nobility (The Turn).
