If you want to stream Jay Z’s discography, you need to be a Tidal subscriber. All of the Brooklyn MC’s solo albums and his Watch the Throne LP with Kanye West have been removed from Apple Music and Spotify.

Jay Z’s collaborative albums with R. Kelly – 2002’s Best Of Both Worlds and 2004’s Unfinished Business – are still available on both of the streaming services. Hov and Linkin Park’s mashup album Collision Course also remains on Apple Music, but it is no longer on Spotify. All of Jay Z’s album can still be purchased on iTunes.

The sudden removal of Jay Z’s catalog is sure to frustrate fans, but it is a smart way to encourage subscriptions of Tidal. Jay’s streaming service has gone through some adversity, including being accused of inflating its subscription numbers.

The boss might be pulling out all the stops to make Tidal as attractive as possible now that Sprint is on board. The telecommunications company bought a 33 percent stake in Tidal.

Outside of music, Jay Z continues to make power moves in the business world. The veteran rapper’s Armand de Brignac aka Ace of Spades champagne is set to bring in some major cash flow. Hov’s brand is set to release a new champagne called Blanc de Noirs Assemblage, which will be be difficult to obtain. Only 2,233 bottles of $850 champagne will be available in the U.S.
