Kanye West Will Reportedly Launch A ‘DONDA’ Cosmetics Line
As Jay Z wanders into the world of venture capital firms, Kanye West continues his vision for DONDA. According to TMZ, Yeezy has filed legal documents to trademark and create DONDA makeup, perfumes, lotions and other types of cosmetics. The Kardashian family has had a history of successful cosmetic lines, as Kylie Cosmetics and her lip kits have taken the industry by storm. Now, it’s West’s turn to have his try at beautifying the people of the world.
According to Harper’s Bazaar, West had a licensing deal locked up since April 2009 along with Rihanna and Jay Z to launch a line of perfume with Parlux. His part of the contract ended up falling through in 2012.
