Migos Share ‘Culture’ Album Cover, Release Date
Today (Jan. 3), Migos share the cover art and release date for their upcoming album, Culture.
The highly anticipated project is slated to drop on Jan. 27 via 300 Entertainment and Quality Control Music. The album cover, which you can view above, is a collage featuring Quavo, Offset and Takeoff surrounded by flower petals, fire, birds, a red sports car, a highway sign and more.
Migos have a ton of momentum behind their forthcoming album thanks to the success of the smash hit, “Bad and Boujee,” which will likely appear on Culture. On Dec. 1, the Lil Uzi Vert-assisted club banger became the Atlanta rap trio’s highest charting song ever.
The other thing about “Bad and Boujee” is that the track is highly meme-able. Countless videos containing the song have recently gone viral, adding to its overall success. “If you like the single, the album will blow your mind,” says Quality Control label heads Pee and Coach K.
In 2016, Migos dropped their 3 Way EP, and made their acting debut, popping up in an episode of Donald Glover’s highly acclaimed FX series Atlanta. If “Bad and Boujee” is any indication of what Culture is going to sound like, then Migos is going to see a lot more success in 2017.
For weeks, Migos dropped snippets of their new project here and there to tease the fans. Finally, Culture will arrive later this month.
