New York Knicks Walk In Grungy Gentleman F/W 2017 Show
Founder Jace Lipstein had another successful season after he showcased his upscale sportswear clothing line, Grungy Gentleman, on Thursday (Feb. 2) during New York Fashion Week. The collection included a number of fall/winter ensembles. Adding athleticism to high fashion, the signature six stripe insignia orchestrated a show that somehow flawlessly combined sports, clothing and hip-hop into one spectacle.

Hot 97’s DJ Drewski set the tone with a mix that included tracks from Kanye West’s “Good Life” to the number one record in the country, Migos’ “Bad and Boujee.” New York pride was on display when Knicks’ guard Justin Holliday, and forward Mindaugus Kuzminskas hit the runway. Given their performance, they might have another career lined up post-basketball.

In addition to the New York Knicks collaboration, the designer debuted cozy collections with the New York Rangers, which are both available at Madison Square Garden shops. Also shown were collabs with Mitchell and Ness (hats), Timberland (boots), and apparel featuring Lipstein’s alma mater, Indiana University.
