2016 BET Hip Hop Awards: Young Dolph on the Pressure of Back to Back Releases + Social Media

We caught up with Memphis artist Young Dolph on the red carpet fresh off the new mixtape drop as we await a December album release. To put out consistent quality has to create pressure right? Not for Dolph explaining how with each project he just gets better and better, almost to the point where tapes are album quality. You have to applaud that kind of approach, especially when we want new music so rapidly – it’s good to know artists still take their time despite the ongoing rush from fans.

That pressure typically come from the easy access social media allows us to have with artists but on the flipside it gives artists a direct connection with those who enjoy their music. Young Dolph doesn’t seem to get caught up in the hype of beefing online are using it for anything other than music, according to the Memphis man it’s all about timing.
