Sam Kanizay, 16, was just enjoying the beach after a soccer match with friends when a bloody attack struck. When he stepped out of the water, he found blood gushing from his feet and ankles. Scientists are confused about what caused the bleeding, but parasitic flesh-eating sea lice are believed to have attacked the teen.
