As sports fans, we like to blame the referee for everything. It’s an easy cop-out when the game isn’t going your beloved team’s way, especially if it’s a close one. Nobody wants to see a match decided by a referee’s call. But in this one instance, we can’t blame the referee.

During an Argentinian soccer match between Ocampo Fabrica and Huracan, a brawl broke out on the field after referee Alexis Meza tried to yellow card Carlos Godoy for a bad tackle. It was supposed to be a second yellow and a subsequent sending off, but Godoy literally wanted to give Meza a piece of his mind.
