https://www.vladtv.com – Boosie Badazz has earned respect for both his actions and his lyricism, and his journey as an MC is bolstered by his unyielding supporters who continue to respect his voice in Hip-Hop. He recently spoke exclusively with DJ Smallz Eyes to let the world know what it was like being incarcerated at Louisiana State Penitentiary, aka Angola.

“My mind was about getting back to those kids I got to raise,” explained Boosie about what drove his perspective while he was locked away. Although the “Betrayed” rapper was able to financially provide for his children during his incarceration, not being able to be physically present for them dismantled his peace of mind, and weighed heavily on his conscience.

As the conversation delved deeper into the depraved living conditions thrust upon Angola inmates, Boosie spoke about the reality that awaits the people who are “chained to each other” and forced into back-breaking labor like digging ditches, and “walking 20 miles” at a time. Boosie went on to talk about the unfairness associated with Louisiana’s laws that levy overly harsh sentences compared to other states.

Watch the clip in its entirety and find out what Boosie thinks about the Three Strikes Law, why he equates incarceration with slavery, and why he has chosen to move away from his home state of Louisiana.
