In 2010 Boosie Badazz was indicted on murder charges, which he spoke about in detail during a recent interview with VladTV. The Baton Rouge rapper explained that he fought the trumped up charges in court, which he said his lawyers agreed were bogus. While facing seven murder charges and capital punishment Boosie shelled out $250,000 in legal fees, and he added that he would have been charged had he been given a court-appointed lawyer.
During the conversation, Boosie also opened up about being locked up with fellow Louisiana rapper C-Murder, and Boosie revealed he’s trying to release a collaborative album soon. When asked about his time spent with C-Murder in jail, Boosie revealed that the former No Limit rapper doesn’t act like prison fazes him or gets him down. Boosie added that C-Murder had taken a real mature stance on the situation, and the “Like a Man” rapper explained that there were times where he just wanted to turn up in jail and get high. When speaking about doing drugs behind bars, Boosie said that it felt good to beat the system while in prison.
