https://www.vladtv.com – In a pre-game press conference, Mavericks’ Coach Carlisle talks about his 6th man Devin Harris’ injury status and leaves dead air on the status for the game versus the Cavs. Rick was also asked about the comparisons of Dirk Nowitzki and Kevin Love, and Carlisle believes without a guy like Dirk who changed the game from a style standpoint, guys like Kevin Love wouldn’t be recognized or even in the League. Coach adds that the similarities in shooting long range jumpers and playing outside the paint make Kevin Love an exceptional, rare talent.
Coach Carlisle, a former NBA player during the ’80s with the Celtics, was then asked about the league’s best player, LeBron James, who Carlisle has huge admiration and respect for, stating that his family life and the way he handles business on and off the court is exceptional. Coach Carlisle compares LeBron to four all-time greats and believes he’s a rare hybrid and mixture of all players. To close out the press conference Carlisle, who was the coach of the finals team in 2011 which defeated LeBron James and the Miami Heat, talks about LeBron’s so-called vengeance spree he has had against the Mavs since the NBA finals of that year.
