GS9 rapper Corey Finesse spoke at length with VladTV about his come-up while living in the violent “red zone” in East Flatbush, Brooklyn. He revealed that he started off singing after being influenced by his uncle, who was in an R&B group, and Boyz II Men, 112, and Jamie Foxx.
Corey admitted that he strayed from music and started dabbling in the streets, but he explained that music is what brought him out and gave him a better life. Further along in the interview, Corey spoke about Taxstone being in jail, Troy Ave being a “bozo,” and his new mixtape, Life After 9.
