Crips and Pirus Discuss Kendrick Lamar’s Reeboks

As we previously reported, Kendrick Lamar’s Reebok Ventilators attempt to unite rival gangs the Crips and Pirus by interweaving red and blue on the laces, inscribing the words ‘Blue’ and ‘Red’ on alternating sneakers and prominently featuring the word “neutral” on the inner tongues. While the public mostly thought it was admirable that Kendrick wanted to unify the gangs, others were concerned that it would create a bigger divide and be dangerous for anyone who actually wore the sneakers in the streets.
