Damian Marley spoke about how he recorded “Bam” for JAY-Z’s 4:44 album and listening to the nearly finished product while working in the studio. He also shared that JAY-Z sent a private jet for him in Africa to fly to Jamaica to film the music video. When asked about how the local people reacted to JAY-Z, Damian said it was a scene, but everyone was respectful of him.

The other half of the interview focused on Damian’s latest album, Stony Hill, which highlights his upbringing and the fact that his father was able to rise from the ghetto and give him such a life. To hear more of what he had to say on the project, hit the above clip.
