D’Angelo Russell Jokes About Recording Nick Young’s Confession

Nick Young and Iggy Azalea broke up over the weekend, and you could argue that D’Angelo Russell is to blame for it. Actually, you don’t even have to make much of an argument for it. Ever since Russell took a video of Young admitting to cheating on Iggy and then somehow allowed it to leak out—the circumstances surrounding the leak are still shrouded in mystery—Nick and Iggy haven’t been on the best of terms. Iggy tried to move past the situation, but she wasn’t ultimately able to trust Young again.

It looks like Russell has stopped beating himself up over it, though. We’re sure he still feels bad about the way things played out, but he shot a Foot Locker commercial with his fellow NBA rookies Karl-Anthony Towns and Devin Booker recently that featured the three future stars dishing out advice to projected No. 1 overall draft pick Ben Simmons. And after Towns and Booker told Simmons about what to expect in his first year in the league, Russell went in a different direction and told Simmons what he should do with his cell phone if he wants to stay out of trouble. If Simmons wants to avoid social media mishaps, he should definitely listen to Russell.

Check out the clip above to see the hilarious commercial. Swaggy P and Iggy probably won’t see much humor in it, but it’s kind of nice to see that Russell has found a way to laugh at one of the biggest mistakes he’s ever made.
