DJ Khaled Shares a Hilarious Story About JAY-Z & Beyonce’s Track ‘Shining’

DJ Khaled appeared on Hot 97 on Monday and revealed that it took him about a year to convince Jay Z and Beyoncé to get on “Shining,” the first single from his latest album, ‘Grateful.’ According to Khaled, he asked Jay Z to try and get Beyoncé on the song in early 2016, and he received the record back right before the 2017 Grammy Awards took place. Khaled also revealed that Jay Z wanted to surprise fans by dropping the song before he had a chance to add his own touches to it.
