Don’t Ask Jay Z About Donald Trump

Jay Z was asked for his opinion on Donald Trump becoming President of the United States of America during an interview at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival on Wednesday. He responded by saying, “Not going to answer that,” and refusing to speak about Trump. Harvey Weinstein, who helped Jay executive produce the docuseries, ‘Time: The Kalief Browder Story,’ also stepped in and told reporters not to ask Jay questions about Trump before abruptly ending the Q&A session with the media. Jay publicly supported Hillary Clinton in the months leading up to the 2016 presidential election.
