Elon Musk is Serious About Digging Tunnels to Fix L.A. Traffic

Back in December, Elon Musk teased the idea of building tunnels in Los Angeles to combat the awful traffic that exists in and around the city. Most people thought he was just kidding around, but over the weekend, he showed off a drilling machine on social media and indicated that he’s completely serious about the idea of digging tunnels to tackle L.A.’s traffic problem. He might even combine The Boring Company—the company he plans to use to dig the tunnels—with his other transit improvement proposal, the Hyperloop.
