Felicia “Snoop” Pearson on Why She’d Rather Act in “Power” Over “Empire”

During our talk with Felicia “Snoop” Pearson of The Wire fame, the actress detailed how she was casted onto the show and which ones she’s been eyeing to appear on next. When asked to choose between Empire and Power, Pearson picked the former despite being offered a role on FOX Network’s hit show at one point. During the filming of Empire’s season Felicia was set to appear as Freda Gatz (played by Bre-Z) after auditioning, but couldn’t due to her shooting scenes for Spike Lee’s Chiraq.

Felicia Pearson later goes on to explain why she’d like to be casted on the next season of Power. Her one plea to 50 Cent? “Don’t kill me off,” she says with a smile. “At least give me five episodes.”
