Hip Hop is viewed as a very homophobic industry. Back in 2011, Fat Joe spoke to DJ Vlad about there being a gay mafia that runs hip hop. Statistically, there has to be gay individuals who work in the industry, Joe makes it a point to tell people to be themselves and come out.
