In 2014, Papoose spoke with VladTV about his then-recent, still-controversial statement that he’s better than Jay Z. “Some people agree with me, some people disagree,” Papoose said. “I’ve seen a lot of people who said, ‘Yo, technically, lyrically, Papoose is better than Jay Z.'” He continued, “It’s almost a slave mentality to feel you’re not better than another person…Facts is facts, lyrically he’s not on my level.” Watch above.
