Gary Owen Shares Possible Reasons for Katt Williams’ Latest Outbursts

Actor and stand up comedian Gary Owen has a long history with Katt Williams, which is why he hopes whatever his colleague is going through is “something that everybody’s laughing about in six months.” After revealing his brother passed away from a heroin overdose, Owen told DJ Vlad “I have two lines of thought. One is he’s on something – I don’t know what it is, but something’s going on. And two is Katt’s always maintained ‘I’m a certifiable genius’…Is he so smart that he’s messing with us, again?” He then added he doesn’t want to “bad mouth” Williams, but simply wants him “to get better” before going into a funny story regarding him, Katt and a limo driver hired for their transportation.
Owen also spoke about not being featured on the Think Like a Man Too DVD cover or the ESSENCE Magazine cover to promote the followup film. “I mean we all know what is, know what I mean?” he asked jokingly before admitting “the DVD cover hurt a little bit.” As far as ESSENCE, Owen applauds their honesty after finding out they allegedly said “we don’t have white guys on our cover. If you look at our history, we don’t have white people on the cover.” “How can you get mad at that?” Owen questioned.
