In this clip, Havoc goes in depth about the Mobb Deep’s early releases and the success that followed. Havoc details how Hell on Earth going gold got him out of the projects, although he continued to spend the majority of his time there. He later spoke about the Quiet Storm remix which is commercially one of Mobb Deep’s most successful tracks and features what Havoc believes is Lil Kim’s best verse. He also indirectly dispelled rumors of Lil Kim not writing her material, stating that he saw her write that legendary verse. Havoc went from talking about Lil Kim to another Brooklyn MC, JAY-Z. Hov and Mobb Deep had a publicized beef back in the day and Havoc was not feeling it. He stresses the point that the beef with JAY was something he wanted to avoid simply because they shared a hometown. Prodigy, on the other hand, was much more engaged and direct with his disdain for Hov which eventually caused friction between the Queens duo. Fast forward to 2017 and JAY-Z listed Mobb Deep as one of his influences during a barrage of tweets.
