Jam Master Jay’s Son TJ Mizell: Police Didn’t Do Enough to Solve JMJ’s Murder

TJ Mizell was only eleven years old when his father, Jam Master Jay of Run DMC, was brutally murdered in 2002, which Mizell spoke about exclusively with VladTV.

When asked about how he was told about his father’s death, TJ reveals that he unfortunately learned of the situation after turning on the news and seeing his mother in the report. While there were other people in the studio with Jam Master Jay at the time he was killed, TJ says that no one claims to have seen anything, which he and his family thought was suspicious.

During the conversation TJ also spoke with us about his relationship with 50 Cent, whom Jam Master Jay discovered. TJ told us that he is on great terms with Fif, and he added that they recently did a charity event together for the Jam Master Jay Music Foundation.
