Jeopardy!’s forays into hip-hop culture often go poorly, and its most recent episode was no different. Host Alex Trebek threw out the fairly straightforward hint. “This ‘Big Poppa’ rapper was killed on March 9, 1997 as he left a music industry party in Los Angeles,” he said. Contestant Sara buzzed in, but things didn’t go great for her. Not only did she choose 2pac as her answer—it was actually The Notorious B.I.G.—but she mispronounced his name. “Who is two pack?” she seemed to ask.
Naturally, Twitter users couldn’t keep their thoughts to themselves about the poor pronunciation.
