Jeremih Dropped From “Summer’s Over” Tour With PARTYNEXTDOOR

Live Nation cites “multiple incidents” for Jeremih’s removal from the bill.

Jeremih has been dropped from the Summer’s Over tour with PARTYNEXTDOOR, according to a Live Nation statement to Pitchfork. The decision to remove the Chicago singer from the bill is due to “multiple incidents” that left the entertainment company “no other choice.”

While the statement does not cite specific “incidents,” they are likely referring to recent reports that Jeremih sent an “impostor” out to perform for him during the Houston date on the tour, as well as dissing his tour partner PND at the next show in Dallas.

Prior to those events, Jeremih stormed off stage in Chicago, suggesting that the sound team had sabotaged his show. Yesterday, he suggested that pepper spray had been used to “mess up” his vocals in Dallas.

Whether or not Jeremih’s set is being tampered with from someone involved in the show, the decision has been made that he will leave the tour. The remaining dates will be headlined solely by PARTYNEXDOOR.

Live Nation’s top priority is helping artists and performers create great shows for their fans.  With this in mind, we’ve decided it’s best for the Summer’s Over Tour to continue without Jeremih, effective immediately. After multiple incidents we are left with no other choice. We do not support these actions or take these actions lightly. Ticketholders may request a full refund at point of purchase, which will forfeit access to the entire show. No partial refunds will be issued
