Growing up in Inglewood and South Gate, California, rapper King Lil G experienced the street life, but he explained to VladTV that he didn’t want to focus on the negative aspects of his past, and he instead wants to spread positivity to the youth. The “Dope” rapper then pointed out that there are more important things he would like to be speaking about, including Donald Trump’s controversial comments about Mexicans.

King Lil G, a Mexican himself, said that he was angered over Trump labeling Mexicans as “rapists,” but the rapper said he didn’t mind if Trump decides to build a wall around Mexico to keep illegal immigrants from entering. He then explained that he feels like everyone in the U.S. is an immigrant whose family settled in the country.
