Lawyer’s Pants Burst into Flames During Arson Trial

A Miami lawyer’s pants caught on fire on Wednesday, but not because he was lying. Rather, defense attorney Stephen Gutierrez was making closing arguments in front of a jury when his pants suddenly caught on fire. In the ultimate irony, it turns out he was defending an arson case. Gutierrez ran out of the courtroom to put the fire out, leaving spectators stunned. Was this all a stunt? I mean, it was for an arson case. Could lighting himself on fire be part of a compelling argument to not convict?
