Eric Wright Jr., aka Lil Eazy-E, spoke exclusively with VladTV about not being chosen to play his late father in the NWA biopic, Straight Outta Compton. While he explained that he’s not a trained actor, Wright told us that he knew he could play the role of his father, including the more serious toned death scenes.

During the conversation Lil Eazy-E also addressed discrepancies he saw in the film, including how they portrayed the “We Want Eazy” rapper as being broke. Wright told us that his father was living in the biggest mansion of his career at that point in his life, and Lil Eazy pointed out that his father was carrying the weight of Ruthless with his platinum albums.

Check out more of what Lil Eazy-E had to say in the above clip, including him addressing the NWA biopic scene where Suge Knight beats up Eazy-E.
