Lord Jamar on Fetty Wap’s Dreads and Possibility of Man-Weave Trend

When Fetty Wap admitted to getting dread extensions in his hair, many judged the rapper’s new look and over time people seemed to ignore it. During our sit down with Lord Jamar, he explained that it’s the 24-year-old’s new found wealth and fame that has made his “man-weave” acceptable. “If he was some broke mother f***** who went and put weave in his hair, everybody [would] be laughing at him.” He explained, “He’s making money, the money is the accepting factor, his popularity and the fact that they’re hearing his s*** on the radio all day. All of that is why he’ll get a pass,” he told DJ Vlad.
