Frequent VladTV guest Lord Jamar spoke with Vlad about Lil Yachty’s new album, Yachty’s continuing effort to be a “brand,” and how Jamar reinvigorated his career as an actor post-Brand Nubian. “I was an MC, then I was producing making beats which a lot of people don’t know. Then producing as far as finding a group like Dead Prez. Then I did the acting s**t. Then I did the voiceover s**t for ESPN. Now I’m managing Aaron Cooks,” Jamar says, “You have to be ready to reinvent yourself, and you have to have a spirit of ‘I’ll never give up.'”
