Lucas Brothers: Hollywood Is Mostly White Men Exploiting Everyone Else (Part 9)

In this clip, the Lucas Brothers spoke briefly on things they were able to get away with as identical twins. For example, they spoke about working one another’s shifts for a previously held job but that they were eventually fired because their mom snitched on them.

The twins went on to discuss the climate of sexual misconduct and abuse in Hollywood. The Lucas Brothers pointed out that the system is predicated on the ones in power exploiting those without. Their solution is to have a more equitable distribution of power which wouldn’t force anyone to have to sell themselves sexually. But they noted that Hollywood is built on this power dynamic and that racism and sexism are embedded in the current system.
