Man Boards Plane With $78K of Cocaine in His Underwear

Authorities said Tuesday they nabbed a man at a New Jersey airport who stuffed his spandex shorts…with $78,000 worth of cocaine. This great plan was almost as ingenious as the one thought of by the desperate man forced to smuggle cocaine in his foreskin this past summer.
U. S. Customs and Border Protection said they caught Rowald Thomas Tromp, a passenger arriving at Newark Liberty International Airport from Oranjestad, Aruba, on Dec. 14. Tromp, a citizen of the Netherlands, was being examined by CBP when officers found the pair of spandex shorts in his backpack.
