In this clip, Marques Houston discussed his production company with Chris Stokes and the success their company has seen, particularly on Netfilx. According to Houston, himself and Stokes have released a #1 film on the streaming platform and currently have larger projects in the works. The most notable upcoming project features Taye Diggs entitled, Till Death Do Us Part, which focuses on the issues surrounding domestic violence. Houston also spoke about working with Karrueche, knowing her since she was 16, and being proud of the dynamic star she is becoming. To Houston, Karrueche is more than a socialite and pretty face, he praises her acting ability and the growth he’s seen since her teenage days. He also addressed the comment creeping done by Chris Brown on one of Karrueche’s photos a while back that Houston also commented on. He claimed that Brown’s response was simply a joke and that they have a solid relationship spanning back years. Houston also discussed how he managed to avoid the pitfalls of other childhood stars to which point he credits his upbringing and management team for keeping him grounded. He wasn’t hung up on the music industry and always kept his friends and family as markers of staying true to himself.
