In this clip, Masta Killa discussed the early part of Wu-Tang, particularly their debut album Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) and how only one of his verses made the cut. He wasn’t a performer before joining Wu-Tang, so he spent much of the first album learning from the other members. He later spoke about jumping on Raekwon’s debut album Only Built for Cuban Linx, and DJ Vlad pointed out to him how that’s his favorite Masta Killa verse.
Masta Killa also discussed the global Wu-Tang following and specifically the love they receive in the UK. He went on to detail how he appreciates the experience much more now that he is older, and not right in the middle of creating so that he can soak up what he and his group members accomplished.
