The holidays came early for a handful of kids in Harlem and Newport News, Va. (Michael Vick’s hometown) this week, as the Jets quarterback donated hundreds of pairs of sneakers to the Boys & Girls Clubs in both communities. While visiting the club in Harlem, Complex News caught up with Vick to talk about the recent uptick in athlete activism, the Cavaliers’ chances of winning an NBA title in 2015, and—as someone who has played in the toughest media markets in the country—if he has any advice for the often berated Johnny Manziel.
