LA native, and R&B singer, Mila J swings by Sway in the Morning to talk about her new project, Dopamine.

Being a true Los Angeles resident, Mila breaks down the real LA – Slauson to be specific. She explains that “The Valley” and Calabasas aren’t really considered LA.

While in-studio, she also speaks on her journey in the music industry, being signed, dropped and proudly independent. Plus, being Jhene Aiko’s sister, she explains why they choose not to collaborate or play music for each other.
