Mozzy on His Diss Song Sparking Gang War and 25 Shootings

Rapper Mozzy talked with VladTV about his hit cover of famous rapper Future’s “I’m Just Being Honest,” and the after effects. Mozzy began talking with Vlad about what happened when he dropped, “I’m Just Being Honest,” and Mozzy said things got crazy. “After the Truth video it was a gang war behind that, after the Just Being Honest video, it was a gang war behind that… people don’t understand like this sh*t…sh*t be real.”

Vlad asked Mozzy about a few of the lyrics he said in his “I’m Just Being Honest” video and Mozzy explained to Vlad, “yea I was talking sh*t.” Mozzy’s friend Kill Bill got jumped at a store due to the backlash of his songs, and Mozzy explained after that incident things got worse. Almost 25 shootings happened after Mozzy’s song came out, “Man body for body, body after body… it wasn’t that many deaths but it was a lot of shootings, it was a lot of life supports, it was a lot of braindead’s… it’s just a chain reaction. They go, we go.” Mozzy explained this type of thing is normal, and the only reason it’s getting recognition now, is because you can follow the beef on the internet.
