Murakami Explains How Kanye’s ‘Graduation’ Album Cover Was Created

Kanye’s fascination with Takashi Murakami’s big-breasted sculpture “Hiropon” lead the pair to collaborate on the cover for Kanye’s third studio album. The cover art, along with the Kanye bear sculpture, will be on display at his retrospective exhibit “The Octopus Eats Its Own Leg” at MCA Chicago, which runs through September 24.
