6-time world champion. 2016 Rio Gold Medalist. First Ever African American to Win. Shot Put Elite. Daughter of 49er great Michael Carter.
Our guest Michelle Carter has a pretty amazing resume but it came through sheer will, effort and overcoming disappointment over the years. She competed in Bejing 2008 and placed 15th. London in 2012, she placed 5th. Rio in 2016, she conquered the world and earned a gold medal. The epitome of dedication and seeing your goal through. She even exchanged some Olympic caliber shot put tips with Sway. Between that, a Super Champion father in her corner and still getting better in the sport – future is bright for Ms. Carter.
