Philthy Rich on Owning $2M in Cars & Getting Arrested for a Stolen Bentley

Despite having $2 million in luxury cars, Philthy Rich talks to DJ Vlad about purchasing a Bentley, which he later found was stolen and faced the legal backlash for nearly seven months. The rapper says he bought the car in cash with the proper paperwork and only discovered that the car was stolen after leaving the club. “They ran the car when I was inside the club, so when I got in the car they [were] already waiting for me,” Philthy said. Once approached by the police with their guns drawn, he and his friend were arrested and hauled off to jail. Fortunately, Philthy says he was reimbursed for the car and legal fees by the dealer and was later cleared of the charges after the case was dismissed.

Free from the burden, the rapper says the police had one stipulation before walking away, “They told me don’t go after the car because If I go after the car that would be receiving stolen property knowing that it’s stolen.”
