There’s no better way than to kick off your week other than listening to some freestyle cyphers! Today, we would like to introduce 2Eleven, Danse, and Telli. Telli and Danse come from a similar background, both being from Brooklyn, while 2Eleven is holding it down for Inglewood, California. Each artist got the chance to rap over production from the New York native, Ali The Greatest.

As you can see in the videos below the energy during the interview was pretty amazing. We get a clarity and understanding of each individual artist, as well as some insight on how they came up before getting heavily involved in music. Although 2Eleven is from a different area than Telli and Danse, you can feel the amount of respect from each party in the room. This same gratitude and respect was also passed down to Ali The Greatest.

From working with Gunplay to interning with Funkmaster Flex, Ali The Greatest discusses what his mindset was throughout each process. He also discusses what he learned from the business as he interned for Funkmaster Flex. After chopping it up with Sway and the crew Ali The Greatest, begins to play his beats.

The first to jump in to cypher was Inglewood’s own 2Eleven. 2Eleven definitely embodies California as he raps over Ali The Greatest beats with such a relaxed demeanor.

The second to jump in the cypher was Brooklyn native, Danse. Danse demonstrates his lyrical ability, with storytelling raps, and aggressive flow on the Ali The Greatest beat. It seemed that with each bar Danse spit, his confidence continued to rise higher and higher.

Telli came through with the melodic cypher. Very different, from Danse, but that’s what makes his cypher great. He brings a melodic flow, while still maintaining a substance in his lyrics.
