Despite having negative lyrics and imagery from his past, R.A. the Rugged Man revealed to VladTV that he never regrets what he said when he was younger because it documents his growth as a person. He went on to reveal that while many people consider him to be one of the grimiest rappers lyrics-wise, R.A. says that Kool G Rap bested him in one publication for his lyrics in “Hey Mister Mister.”
