Soundset 2016 Cypher PT. 3: Lioness, Rich Garvey, Tony Bones, Mike Dreams, Mike the Martyr & More

Gary 57 kicked things off in a special way being the first to spit and doing so from a wheel chair, “you think I can’t rap cus I can’t walk mother****er those two things got nothing to do with one another”. Next up was a familiar female hyena (@TheLionessMusic) who gave us a few less than 16 but you know how the saying goes – quality over quantity. Following up was (@RichGarvey) who pulled out the dashiki before ripping into some nice bars off top. Things took a laid back approach as Khaliq floated through effortlessly before handing off the mic to @Lucien_Parker.
Next up was a local legend Tony Bones (@TonyBonesMPLS) for his escape on the TV show ‘Cops’, actually got away from them on air guess he only had plans of seeing these bars because he definitely left a few artists behind his. Our next hyena Mike Dreams (@MikeDreamsMusic) showed us exactly how he landed a placement for 50 Cent’s hit show “Power”..the kid has talent! Things continued as Lam (@lam_715) and Mr. Phix (@TheMrPhix) brought some diversity to the land of hyenas.
You know you’re destined for greatness when you meet Sway at the Apollo at only age 14, our next hyena Intikana (@Intikana) brought some HEAT! Seemingly a tough act to follow but Malo 357 proved he was the man for the job freestyling in both Spanish and English. Batting clean up was Mike the Martyr (@MiketheMartyr) who came through and put a fitting end to an incredible day of Hyenas.
So much talent nationwide, stay prepared and you never know where the Sway in the Morning crew will end up. Maybe you will be on that stage giving the world quality bars next!
